The law of the Republic of Latvia requires the owner of an online store to specify the terms of delivery and return of goods, as well as the right of withdrawal. Such a provision is called "distance contract" (Cabinet Regulation).
Distance Contract
The seller of the goods offered in this online store, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, on the one hand, and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other hand, enter into the following Contract: The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver to the Buyer the goods in accordance with the Buyer's order.

within 24 hours..
After the goods have been dispatched, you will receive, by email, a tracking
number and instructions to see the location of your ordered goods.
Orders are normally delivered
to customers at the time specified, depending on the chosen destination.
For successful delivery, please provide your full name, precise address with
postcode and telephone number so that the courier can contact you if necessary.
If the Buyer has provided an incorrect address or the Buyer cannot be found at
the address provided, the goods shall be returned to the Seller's warehouse. In
this case, the delivery charge will not be refunded. For repeated shipment, the
Buyer shall pay an additional delivery charge.
We accept no liability for
delays caused by the courier service.
The Seller reserves the right to extend the delivery time if any unforeseen
circumstances arise and shall inform the Buyer accordingly.
Right of withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to reject the goods within 14 calendar days of receipt of the goods by sending a letter of rejection to the Seller. The Seller shall send the rejection form to the Buyer by e-mail at the Buyer's request.
The Buyer is obliged to return the goods to the Seller within 7 days after sending the rejection form. Any costs incurred in relation to sending the goods back to the Seller shall be borne by the Buyer.
The Buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if:
- goods ordered cannot be returned due to their nature, or because they are perishable, consumable or for hygienic reasons (i.e. cosmetics, underwear, swimwear, jewellery, socks, tights, hair accessories cannot be returned)
- the goods ordered have been made individually for the Buyer;
- the Buyer has opened the packaging, for example, in the case of air fresheners. In this case, the air freshener cannot be returned.
Section 12, Paragraph six of the Consumer
Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia states that "the consumer
shall be responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during
the period of exercising the right of withdrawal". The Seller reserves the
right to refuse the Buyer the exercising of the right of withdrawal or to
charge a compensation fee if the goods have been damaged by negligent handling
or failure to follow the instructions during use, if the original packaging of
the goods has been lost or if the packaging is substantially damaged. If the
goods are returned, you will receive a refund within 14 days from the date of
receipt of the returned goods. Refunds for returned goods shall be made by wire
transfer to the payer's bank account. When returning the goods, you must comply
with the following conditions for returning goods:
- the goods must be in their original and
undamaged packaging;
- the goods must not have been damaged by
the Buyer;
- the goods must not have been used and must
not have lost their original appearance (labels intact, protective film in
place, etc.).
Data processing
By entering the necessary information when placing an order, the Buyer confirms that he/she has read and agrees that the data provided by him/her will be used to enable the Seller to accept the Buyer's order and deliver the goods in accordance with the requirements of the laws of the Republic of Latvia. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees that notifications related to the processing of the Buyer's order will be sent to the e-mail address provided.
Settlement of disputes and disagreements
By entering the necessary information when placing an order, the Buyer confirms that he/she has read and agrees that the data provided by him/her will be used to enable the Seller to accept the Buyer's order and deliver the goods in accordance with the requirements of the laws of the Republic of Latvia. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees that notifications related to the processing of the Buyer's order will be sent to the e-mail address provided.
Settlement of disputes and disagreements
Disputes and disagreements related to the performance of the general conditions of sale shall be settled through mutual negotiations. Should any unresolved disputes or disagreements arise between www.sarmenteuse.com and the Customer, each of the parties shall be entitled to protect its rights in accordance with the procedures established by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
